Good, better, best: BioAge ratings

Your BioAge outputs are classified according to ratings ranging from poor to exceptional, and any BioAge that is lower than your chronological age (i.e., younger) is preferable for your overall health and will contribute positively towards your Overall BioAge.

Your BioAge is rated based on it's distance from your actual (chronological) age as follows:

  • Poor range: > 4 years older than your chronological age
  • Fair range: 2-4 years older than your chronological age
  • Good range: your chronological age to 2 years older than your chronological age
  • Excellent range: 3 years younger that your chronological age to your chronological age
  • Exceptional range: More than 3 years younger than your chronological age

You can lower your BioAge

Lowering your BioAge requires consistent healthy behavior and does not happen overnight. For this reason, even small decreases in BioAge should be considered successes.

Maintaining a good to exceptional BioAge indicates that your lifestyle is leading you toward long-term health and wellness.  

Some general tips to improve your Overall BioAge are:

  • Avoid spending too long sedentary each day
  • Participate in regular vigorous exercise
  • Strive for sufficient and good quality sleep every night

Your BioBoost™ output is rated against fixed performance categories aimed to help you understand the impact of your behavior on your long-term health:

  • Poor: 0-25% (Red)
  • Fair: 26-44% (Blue)
  • Good: 45-69% (Blue)
  • Excellent: 70-84% (Green)
  • Exceptional: 85-100% (Green)

Some general tips to improve your Overall BioAge are:

  • Avoid long periods of sedentary time like sitting at your desk working for 8 hours straight. Schedule breaks to move around, try walking meetings or go for a walk during lunch.
  • Do regular aerobic exercise such as jogging, cycling, swimming or walking to increase your active time.
  • Engaging in regular moderate-to-vigorous exercise will improve your fitness. 
  • Aim to get enough (7-9 hours) good quality sleep daily.
  • Prioritize a healthy work-life-balance. Be kind to yourself, find ways to de-stress and follow a healthy balanced diet.
